✨ The Clapton — A Backpack That's Also a Handbag
The Clapton is Louis Vuitton's answer to the backpack that doesn't look like a backpack. Structured, compact, and finished with the house's signature Damier Ebene canvas, it works as a traditional backpack, a shoulder bag, or a hand-carry top handle — depending on how you clip the straps.
💎 Damier Ebene With Bold Red Leather
The Damier Ebene checkerboard canvas covers the body — dark brown and tan squares that have been part of Louis Vuitton since 1888. But the detail that makes this one stand out is the red leather flap with the pink leather center band and black leather trim. It's a bold, almost graphic combination that gives the Clapton a modern, youthful edge over the classic monogram styles.
🔒 The LV Gold-Tone Push-Lock
The front flap closes with the LV-engraved gold-tone push-lock — a polished, mechanical closure that opens with a press and clicks shut with a satisfying snap. It's the same lock used across Louis Vuitton's Clapton and Marignan lines, and it's one of the most tactile closures the house makes.
🎒 Backpack, Shoulder Bag, or Handbag
The Clapton comes with two detachable leather shoulder straps — clip both on for backpack carry, use one for a shoulder bag, or remove them entirely and carry it by the black leather top handle for a structured handbag look. Three bags in one, depending on your day.
👜 Compact But Organized
At 20 × 21 × 11 cm, it's a small backpack with real depth. Inside, the main compartment holds a phone, cardholder, keys, compact, and a small water bottle. The flap opens wide for easy access, and the interior is lined in textile.
